TFX signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with various exchanges in the world as follows.

ICE Futures Europe (then Euronext Liffe)

In April 1996, TFX and Euronext Liffe (now ICE Futures Europe) established trading and clearing arrangements (the Link) between their markets. With the commencement of this international linkage, Three-month Euroyen futures, which had the same specification of TFX's, were launched on Euronext Liffe market.
*The link agreements have been terminated as of April 5, 2018.

Singapore Exchange

January 12, 1998, TFX and Singapore Exchange (SGX) agreed to cooperate for the development and efficient operation of both markets, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Sydney Futures Exchange

March 14, 2001, TFX and Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE) agreed to cooperate for the development and efficient operation of both markets, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Korea Exchange

September 25, 2001, TFX and Korea Exchange (KRX) agreed to cooperate for the development and efficient operation of both markets, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
TFX and KRX exchange information about listing of new products, changes of contract specifications and trading methods. Both exchanges also provide the other with available information concerning market surveillance upon request from the other. Moreover, TFX and KRX have an opportunity to hold discussion in order to enhance their level of cooperation, in areas such as study of new products and cross-exchange membership, which enables each exchange member to access the other market.

Taiwan Futures Exchange

June 23, 2003, TFX and Taiwan Futures Exchange (TAIFEX) agreed to cooperate for the development and efficient operation of both markets, and signed MOU.
TFX and TAIFEX exchange information about listing of new products, changes of contract specifications and trading methods. Moreover, TFX and TAIFEX have an opportunity to hold discussion for the development of cooperation such as study of new products.

Chicago Board of Trade

May 10, 2004, TFX and Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement to cooperate in the development and efficient operation of both markets.
TFX and CBOT exchange information such as listing of new products, changes in contract specifications and trading methods. Both exchanges initiate discussions as a basis for mutual cooperation on new product research.

Shanghai Futures Exchange

May 27, 2005, TFX and Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement to cooperate in the development and efficient operation of both markets.

The main areas to be covered by this MOU are as follows:
1) Information exchange on regulatory framework and market structure
2) Information exchange on financial futures products and marketing
3) Information exchange on system infrastructure (trading, clearing, and networking, etc.)
4) Occasional meetings at both executive and staff level.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange

November 16, 2005, TFX and the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in the marketing of listed products on the two exchanges and for exchange of information associated with this purpose.

Based on the MOU, the two exchanges will jointly cooperate in the following areas:
a) Open joint seminars and other marketing activities to increase the liquidity, efficiency, and reliability of products listed on the exchanges.
b) Exchange of information necessary for the above purpose.
c) Other necessary cooperation seen needed for business development opportunities for the two exchanges.

Dalian Commodity Exchange

June 9, 2006, TFX and the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to cooperate in the development and efficient operation of both markets.
By signing the MOU, TFX and DCE will initiate a development of cooperation and business opportunities through information sharing, and market/product development. Both exchanges will share information about new products, trading methods and changes to the contract specifications of listed products, and assist one another generally in marketing and educational programs such as informational meetings and industry research symposiums.
