Robust and Cutting-Edge Trading Systems

Establishment of a Backup Site

In the event that the main center of exchange systems becomes unavailable due to a large-scale disaster or other emergency event, TFX can continue providing the exchange systems' services by operating a back-up site.

The exchange systems of the main center and the backup site are both set up at data centers of the highest standards in Japan.

  • Location environment to avoid being hit by a large-scale disaster simultaneously
  • Equipped with cutting-edge security and robust equipment (in compliance with the FISC Security Guidelines on Computer Systems for Banking and Related Financial Institutions*)

* The Security Guidelines on Computer Systems for Banking and Related Financial Institutions, formulated by the Center for Financial Industry Information Systems (FISC), are widely used as the specific guidelines when implementing security measures for computer systems.
Even if the main center becomes unusable due to a large-scale disaster or other emergency event, orders from trading members can be processed at the backup site.
There is a framework in place for TFX to receive contracts of investors accepted by trading members at the backup site.

*In the event of an emergency such as a large-scale disaster, unforeseeable situations may occur, such as a trading member becoming unable to accept orders entrusted by customers.

Server Redundancy

Server Redundancy

  • Even if a trading server fails, TFX has a framework in place for receiving orders from trading members without having to suspend trades when switching to a backup server.
*Redundancy means systems built in ways that enable the provision of continuous service by having backup equipment in the event of a system failure or other such situation.
