Exploring a Network Linkage with NYSE Euronext

Tokyo Financial Exchange, Inc. (TFX) and NYSE Euronext have begun discussions to consider a network linkage.
1. Outline
If a linkage can be formed between NYSE Euronext’s network, the Secure
Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI®), and TFX’s network, the
following will become possible.
| (1) | Members of TFX will be able to trade listed derivative products available on NYSE Euronext markets by using the existing network lines to TFX. |
| (2) | Overseas market participants connected to SFTI® will be able to trade TFX listed products without connecting a new line to TFX, using their SFTI® connection to NYSE Euronext derivative markets. |
