Trading Volume in June 2009

In June 2009, the trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 1,385,389, decreasing 44.0% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and increasing 33.3% in comparison to that of the prior month, and the average daily volume was 62,972. The trading volume of Options on Three-month Euroyen futures was 820, decreasing 99.1% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and decreasing 92.1% in comparison to that of the prior month. The trading volumes for the put options and call options are 400 and 420, respectively, and the average daily volume was 37. See the table 1 for the composition of the trading volumes.

The total trading volume of Exchange Forex Margin contracts (Click 365) was 6,396,712, increasing 62.1% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and increasing 9.0% in comparison to that of the prior month, and the average daily trading volume was 290,760.
