Trading Starts 15 Minutes Earlier on 28 January 2005

TIFFE announced the temporary change of trading hours for all contracts on 28 January 2005, responding to the releases as follows:

・ A preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production at 8:50am.
・ The Consumer Price Index at 8:30am.



・ Pre-open 8:30am - 8:45am (Normal days 8:45am - 9:00am)
・ Open of morning session 8:45am (Normal days 9:00am)

Other trading hours are the same as usual.

TIFFE temporally extend its trading hours to provide its members and customers with trading opportunities . Other than the release of the Consumer Price Index or a preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production, TIFFE starts its trading hours 15 minutes earlier on days when BOJ's TANKAN report, BOJ's Outlook and Risk Assessment of the Economy and Prices, or a GDP figure are announced at the same timing.
