Launch date of New Systems on 28 of April

Tokyo, 21 April 2003 -- The Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange (TIFFE) announces today a launch date of its new trading and clearing systems on 28th of April, 2003. LIFFE CONNECT™, developed by the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), will be used as the new trading platform. Fujitsu Limited (Fujitsu) developed the new clearing and settlement system.
LIFFE CONNECT™, the state-of-the-art electronic trading system with sophisticated functions like complex combination orders, will increase activities in its Euroyen futures, TIFFE's flagship product. TIFFE believes the adoption of LIFFE CONNECT™ will bring advantages in developing new products and new business fields.
