Setting up of "Y2K Task Force" and Y2K external testing

The Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange started a "Y2K Task Force" on 1 October 1999. The task force is headed by Takao Hotta, our Senior Managing Director, and composed of all the senior staffs on TIFFE. The task force work from October 1999 to March 2000.
Between 31 December 1999 and 4 January 2000, the critical transition period, the task force will allocate staffs on a cite on a 24 hours basis.
On 2 January 2000, TIFFE is to have an external testing of our trading systems and networks with all of our members.
