Extension of Trading Hours

The Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange (TIFFE) has announced that it will change its trading hours from Monday 23rd March 1998.

The start of evening session will change from 16:00 to 15:40.

New trading hours of TIFFE will be as follows:

morning session

9:00　*　 - 11:30
afternoon session

12:30 - 15:30
evening session　**　

15:40 - 18:00

　
>* Trading of Euroyen futures and their options start at 8:45 a.m. on those days in which the Bank of Japan releases its TANKAN report and, MITI (Ministry of International Trade and Industry) releases its Preliminary Report on Indices of Industrial Production, Producer's Shipments and Producer's Inventory.

** The evening session is dated as of the next business day.
