Trading Volume in December 2009
The trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 1,125,342, increasing 5.4% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and increasing 52.4% in comparison to that of the prior month, and the average daily volume was 53,588. The trading volume of Options on Three-month Euroyen futures was 250, decreasing 98.9% in comparison to that of the prior year comparable month, and decreasing 58.3% in comparison to that of the prior month. The trading volumes for the put options and call options are 250 and 0, respectively, and the average daily volume was 12. See the table 1 for the composition of the trading volumes.

the prior year comparable month, and decreasing 19.1% in comparison to that of
the prior month, and the average daily trading volume was 262,725. See the table 2 for the composition of

Total Trading Volume in Year 2009
The trading volume of Three-month Euroyen futures was 13,066,020, decreasing 41.6% in comparison to that of the prior year, and the average daily trading volume was 53,770. The trading volume of Options on Three-month Euroyen futures was 32,088, decreasing 97.4% in comparison to that of the prior year. The trading volumes for the put options and call options are 19,327 and 12,761, respectively. The trading volume of Interest Rate etc. Financial Futures Contracts was 13,098,108, decreasing 44.6% in comparison to that of the prior year, and the daily average was 53,902.
In addition, the total trading volume of Exchange Forex Margin contracts (Click 365) in 2009 was 70,579,936, increasing 63.0% in comparison to that of the prior year, and the average daily trading volume was 271,461. See the table 3 for the composition of the trading volumes.
